Three to follow from the Weekend: 24th, 25th & 26th January…

After a short break, ‘Three to follow from the Weekend‘ is back ๐Ÿ˜Ž

The Festive period and a couple weeks of me visiting family in the frozen north-east of Scotland meant I just parked the free blog for a bit… but it’s all system go again and back to the day to day racing grind…

Great to hear that a few of you have cashed in on a couple of the previous noted runners from this column over the past few weeks…

PLANNED PARADISE rolled in at Windsor under his Prime Conditions (19th of Jan) at a whopping SP of 25/1 (BFSP 36.50)… he was highlighted in the 19th of November ‘Three to follow…’ post

HOMBRE DE GUERRA made it 2 from 2 since being highlighted in the 3rd of December ‘Three to follow…’ post… he scored at Ayr (20th of Jan) at an SP of 11/8…

…and here’s the next trio of ‘Three to follow…’ runners, taken from the recent copy of NTF Weekend Notes that was posted to full NTF Members yesterday…

Three to follow from the weekend: 24th, 25th & 26th January…

.

Horse Profile - Jockey Colours ALL AUTHORIZED (Gary & Josh Moore)

6th in a Class 3 Novicesโ€™ Handicap Chase โ€“ 2:25 Sandown (Friday 24th Jan)ย

This was Chase debut for the 6yo and he should come on plenty for the outing…

Authorized offspring are only 7/64 | 11% S/R | -ยฃ36.67 โ€“ W&P 17/64 | 27% S/R (48% below exp) on chase debut… improving to 22/57 | 39% S/R | +ยฃ28.95 โ€“ W&P 32/57 | 56% S/R (24% above exp) on 2nd and 3rd chase starts combined (when in fields of 9 or less and starting at 8/1 or less)

…heโ€™s possibly not up to Class 3 level either as heโ€™s now 0/4, 0p at the level and a drop down in class would likely be beneficial… heโ€™s also 0/4, 0p on a RH track and there was plenty about this run that suggested they were just blowing the cobwebs away (it was his first run for 280-days) and letting him get his eye in over fences…

His best form to date has come at Fontwellform of 121 (2/3, 1p โ€“ both career wins) at the track โ€“ so it would be interesting if he rocked up there on coming starts…

.

Horse Profile - Jockey Colours SNIPE (Dan ‘Give us your f***in money’ Skelton)

3rd in Class 1 Great Yorkshire Handicap Chase โ€“ 3:15 Doncaster (Saturday 25th Jan)ย

The ground probably just dried out enough to stop him fighting it out for the win – heโ€™s now 0/6, 2p on Good ground – so it’s well worth marking this effort up a little on the bare form.

Heโ€™s worth keeping in mind on coming starts and looking out for him getting his Prime Conditions to attack…

Left-Handed tracks | G/S or Soft = 12112 (3/5, 2p โ€“ all 3 career wins)

.

Horse Profile - Jockey Colours FELTON BELLEVUE (Ben Case)

5th in a Class 5 Handicap Chase โ€“ 3:40 Sedgefield (Sunday 26th Jan)ย

The 10yo is handicapped to be winning right now off OR 94 but he needs an easier track than Sedgefield to be running on… heโ€™s now 0/14, 3p on Undulating and Very Undulating tracks (Sedgefield is classed as ‘undulating’)…

Heโ€™s at his peak in the January to March period (3/16, 7p in Jan-March compared to 0/20, 5p all other months)… and I have his prime Conditions as…

OR <96 | Hcp Chases over >2m7f & <3m2f | flat-slightly und tracks = 321221122 (3/9, 6p – all 3 career wins)

…heโ€™s worth looking out for reappearing on a more suitable track over the coming weeks…

You can add the above three horses to whatever horse tracker tool you may use… both GeeGeez and HorseRaceBase offer horse tracker tools in their affordable subscription packages…

In other news…

The PodBlast returned last Friday, after also taking a small break whilst I was away… and it was straight back into the swing of things… with Moon D’Orange landing for Tony Mac at double figures odds (at time of recording) plus a full house and +15.90 points profit for myself in Top, Middle & Bottom ๐Ÿฅณ

Make sure you add us on your favourite pod listen platform so you don’t miss future episodes…

Cheers and I’ll be back next week, with the next installment of ‘Three to follow from the weekend‘…

  1. Well thanks for reminding me I missed planned paradise..๐Ÿ˜‚ and also the Scottish footy. Shit or bust with you. ๐Ÿ˜€
Tony should just stick a pin in…๐Ÿ˜‚
All authorised I tracked after that run, ( think he was unlucky not to get closer) but thanks for the in-depth.

  2. Shi!t or bust Mal… that’s how I live my life!! ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

All Authorized didn’t jump 3 out and 2 out well so yeah, possibly unlucky not to get closer… but I don’t think connections will mind… he was dropped 4lbs for the run so he’s on an even more lenient mark to attack off now…

    Cheers – Ben (NTF)
