2024 York Ebor Meeting Notes: NTF 4 to follow…

The York Ebor meeting is now firmly wedged in the form book for another year…

We are fairly zooming through the flat festivals this summer!!

I was happy with my own punting over the 4-days… profits were safely in the bank once the 4-days were out… a few more I probably should have had and a few I should probably have avoided… but ain’t that always the way with this betting malarkey!!!

I was particularly pleased to have turned a profit this year as we’ve had family staying with us for the past two weeks!!! And they are nothing if not a distraction when there’s a big multi-day festival I need to get stuck into ๐Ÿซจ๐Ÿ™‰ mind you… it works the other way as well… as it’s a ready made ‘excuse’ for me to lock myself away in my office and flatly ignore them for most of the day ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

The York Ebor meeting is also another of those great meetings to pick apart, once the dust has settled, and look for future profitsโ€ฆ

My โ€˜York Ebor Meeting Notesโ€˜ were posted to full NTF members…

7-pages rammed full of notes, angles, pointers and prime condition horses for members to profit from in the coming weeks and months… possibly even further ahead than that when it comes to Prime Condition horses…

Below are four horses from that chunky set of notes (one from each day)… four horses that will hopefully pull in some tasty profits before this flat season is out…

York Ebor Meeting 2024: NTF Four to Follow

๐Ÿ“… Wednesday 21st August

1.50 Symphony Group Handicap โ€“ Class 2 โ€“ 1m2f (4yo+)

Race Note: This straight track handicap was one of a number through the week where there was a track advantage to those draw low… with the firstย  5 home all drawn in stalls 8 or less and 7 of the first 9 home drawn in stalls 8 or less…

๐Ÿ‡ 6th โ€“ BERGERAC

Won his side of the draw but stall 19 was no use in this race and he had no answer for those drawn low… he can definitely be competitive off or around the mark he ran here from (OR 91 and went down 1lb to OR 90 for this) and he has been in decent form on recent starts… heโ€™s worth looking out for under his Prime Conditions (PC)…

OR 93 or less | DSLR 42 or less | Slightly Undulating/Undulating tracks | Good+ (or AW) = 7/21, 6p โ€“ all 7 career wins

>

๐Ÿ“… Thursday 22nd August

4.10 Henry Cecil Galtres Stakes โ€“ Listed (Fillies & Mares) โ€“ 1m4f (3yo+)

๐Ÿ‡ 3rdNAKHEEL

Was only put up 2lbs to OR 97 for this and sheโ€™d be of interest if entering handicaps now… her trainer Owen Burrows has some solid stats with lightly raced female handicappers… O Burrows | 3yo fillies on 1st or 2nd Hcp start | IRE or USA bred | 7f+ | 0-1 previous career starts | SP <10/1 = 11/26 | 42% S/R | +ยฃ27.40 โ€“ W&P 17/26 | 65% S/R (E/W = +ยฃ31.21)

.

๐Ÿ“… Friday 23rd August

5.20 Mile Handicap โ€“ Class 2 โ€“ 1m (3yo)

Race Note: Once again, the low numbers were the call… with the first 3 drawn 7 or lower and 4 of the first 6 drawn 7 or lower…

๐Ÿ‡ 4th โ€“ APIARIST

Drawn second widest of the field here and tagged along at the back of the field from the off… did all his best work late on and this was likely the best he was going to do from his poor draw… Good to Firm ground may have been against him also, so well worth marking this run up a few pounds on the bare form… no real hard and fast PC for him just yet but the following look a good starting point… DSLR 42 or less | LH tracks | Good or softer = 312 (1/3, 2p)… whilst being relatively flexible at the same time…

.

๐Ÿ“… Saturday 24th August

4.10 Constantine Handicap โ€“ Class 2 โ€“ 6f (3yo+)

Race Note: Dominated by the low number again… with the first 7 ALL drawn in stall 8 or less and the first 9 home all drawn in stalls 10 or less…

๐Ÿ‡ 11th โ€“ ADMIRAL D

Stall 13 was against him here and heโ€™s also not a fan of York (0/5, 0p) and all his turf wins have come on Good to Soft or softer… he went down 2lbs to OR 82 for this and thatโ€™s comfortably a mark he can be competitive off… heโ€™s worth looking out for under his PC of…

OR 85 or less | 6f-6.5f | G/S or softer (or AW) | June or later = 173311 (3/6, 2p โ€“ all 3 career wins)
